We began construction of the Westchester Central Railroad in May of 1989.  A video recorded in 2000 is located at the bottom of this page.

Arnie and his crew dug a cut around the stone wall for the upper loop.  They encountered some rock ledge and used a jack-hammer to remove a portion of the ledge.  About 5' of track will have thin cross-ties to accommodate the remaining ledge.
