Looking east, this photo highlights the south loop grade crossing, one of the passing track switches and the north end of the trestle.

The two plywood boxes in the foreground cover the motorized, remote control switches. The small aluminum box on the post to the right of the track houses one of the sets of push buttons that allow the engineer to control the motorized switches directly from the train. Another set is located at the south end of the trestle.
